3 Georgia children found living in dad’s meth lab home
Federal agents and sheriff’s deputies in Georgia have found three children living in a Coweta County home doubling as a meth lab during last week’s drug bust that netted more than 300lbs of illegal narcotics.
DEA agents descended on a private home in the 200 block of Shell Road near Palmetto last Thursday and conducted a search that yielded about 6lbs of methamphetamine inside one bedroom.
Another bedroom on the premises was found to house a ‘small conversation lab that contained liquid methamphetamine in an unfinished state,’ along with four more founds of meth, according to charging documents.

A larger conversation lab, equipped with acetone, propane tanks, large screens and fans, was discovered inside an out building in the back of the property, along with 286lbs of illegal narcotics, reported the station WSB-TV.
Officers also recovered four guns and a bulletproof vest inside the residence; additional firearms guns and 6lbs of meth were found in a truck parked outside the house.
According to officials, the street value of all 310lbs of meth seized during Thursday’s raid amounts to $2.5 to $3million.
Ramiro Hermosillo-Salazar surrendered to DEA agents without incident, telling them he had lived in the home for about a year and that he was in the US illegally.
The suspect was arrested and charged with drug trafficking and firearms counts. He remained in federal custody on Tuesday.

Hermosillo-Salazar had been sharing the home in Coweta County with his wife and their three elementary school-aged children.
The wife has not been charged with any crime and her name has not been made public.
Neighbors reported seeing a lot of activity at the home at all hours and hearing bursts of gunfire almost ever day.
