Four teenagers, aged from 14 to 16, are expected to be charged with armed robbery after a man’s car was stolen at a service station in Melbourne’s south.
A 37-year-old Broadmeadows man says a group of teenagers armed with knives, threatened him at the Elwood business about 1am on Thursday before taking his keys and driving off in his car.
Police arrested four teenagers – three boys and one girl – shortly after 3am, 52km away in Healesville.
The teenagers, a 14-year-old boy, two 15-year-old boys, and a 16-year-old girl are expected to be charged with armed robbery, theft of motor car and weapon offences, police said.
