Cereal, cookies and ice cream for breakfast? Natalie Sum’s fruit loop ice cream sandwiches
Natalie Sum, a 25-year-old food blogger from Sydney, created the fruit loop ice cream sandwich.
While not strictly a breakfast treat, the school holidays are quickly approaching and what better way to bribe your kids into mowing the lawn than with ice cream.
Natalie, who goes by the name NutellaSum on Instagram, bakes simple homemade cookies and drizzles them with chocolate and crushed fruit loops.
She then places a generous scoop of ice cream between two cookies and rolls them in extra fruit loops.
Rice bubbles shaped into watermelon slices are a fun and easy recipe for your kids these holidays
The final result is a delicious cereal treat that could easily double as dessert or even a late night snack.
Natalie is also the creative genius behind watermelon rice bubbles, a crunchy cereal shaped and coloured into watermelon slices.
Nathan Hunter, whose Instagram account Fluffë showcases his works of art with fairyfloss, created two delectable recipes using both coco pops and rice bubbles.
The 22-year-old from Sydney added rice bubbles to pancake batter for a crunchier taste, layering them into a stack with maple syrup and whipped cream.
Nathan, who often uses cereal in his fairyfloss creations, also created a coco pops parfait.
The layered dessert combines the chocolaty cereal, yogurt, honey, whipped cream and cinnamon into a glass.
Although closer to an after dinner treat than a morning meal, you can add fresh fruit and hold the whipped cream for a breakfast reminiscent of a summer’s day.
